You might find it helpful to write down what part of the paper you found each item in. Pull out your cutouts one-by-one, explain what item teams should be looking for, and challenge each team to be the first to find the same cutout in their own paper. The first team to find the item, cut it out, and present it to you gets a point, and the team with the most points at the end is the winner. You decide: will your students make the cut? To keep things fair, we always play with two teams and three rounds, followed by a tiebreaker round, if necessary. Every round includes a set of words and a time limit of 60 to seconds. Both teams are challenged to draw and guess!

In each round, one team member draws and all other team members are allowed to guess. The team should try to guess as many clues as the time limit allows, and a final score is tallied and reported to both teams at the end of each round.

We hope that you enjoy these Youth Group Christmas Games as much as we do. Merry Christmas, everyone! Have students put on a Santa hat, and stuff or tie a pillow on their tummy before they approach the limbo bar. Play regular limbo with a Santa belly and watch the hilarity ensue. Just like an egg on a spoon but with ornaments.

Divide students into teams and give each team a spoon, ornament, and a number of times they have to get it from one side of the room to the other holding the end of the spoon in their mouth balancing the ornament in the spoon.

Put a pile of candy canes on one table and a basket on another table feet away. Give students one candy cane to put in their mouth and have them transfer the pile to the buckets by hooking the one in their mouth to ones in the pile. Tie an ornament on the end of string and tie that string to a belt. Place cans or bottles on a table, and have students put on the belt with the ornament to the back like a tail and try to knock over the objects on the table by swinging their hips and turning the ornament into a wrecking ball.

I like it! Nice Christmas themed games! From Manitoba, Canada. Another twist is to do this game in the dark and let students use a flashlight or the light from their cell phones to find matching Christmas paper squares.

That has been proven to be a myth. However, the numbers one through 12 ARE very significant in Scripture so this is a matching game that pairs the items in the song with something in the Bible that has the same number. Each pair of items below corresponds to a number 1 through Match the items with the number.

Each number is used only once:. You can create your own unique word search puzzles online by clicking here. You can use whatever Christmas words you choose to create your own puzzle.

Turn on some Christmas music and let them get to work! Once everyone is done, have the players who were made into the trees line up in front of everyone else. Ask the group which team they think did the best. The first Christmas tree who can eat five cookies wins. Some of my favorite things about this time of year are all the decorations you see everywhere you go.

Everywhere in town transforms into a little wonderland—the mall, the streets, even most houses! People put out their decorations to celebrate and get into the spirit of this season! Christmas is such a time of celebration. And we really go out of our way to celebrate. We decorate, sing, have parties, and buy gifts. We go crazy with the cookies and the movies and the shopping.

Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

What does that sound like to you? If you went outside right now and saw this scene, what would you think was happening?
